H1N1_influenza_virusThe 2009 Swine Flu Pandemic is an A(H1N1) pandemic and a global outbreak. How can you tell if you have it? Swine Flue symptoms are very similar to those you would see in ordinary flu. However they may be more sever and they could cause serious complications. Some experts have suggested Swine flu is just another type of Flu.
The typical Swine Flu symptoms are:

  • sudden fever (a high body temperature of over 38C or 100.4F), and
  • sudden cough.

Other Swine Flu symptoms may include:

  • headache,
  • tiredness,
  • chills,
  • aching muscles,
  • limb or joint pain,
  • diarrhoea or stomach upset,
  • sore throat,
  • runny nose,
  • sneezing, and
  • loss of appetite.
